Potato Cave

In Middlesex county sits a mystery. A stone chamber built near a small river. Some think it was made by the Indians, unlikely. Some believe it was made by early settlers. If that's the case then why aren't there alot more? Others believe neither is correct. Is it possible this chamber, and hundreds of others scattered across that northeast are remnants of ancient visits to America by Europeans?

Called the "potato cave" by some, it sits in the woods, keeping its secret origins a mystery. I got out of work early one day and decided to venture forth. I got some directions off the 'net and headed out. It was a beautiful walk through the woods, past a brook and an area which once hosted a pencil factory. A short walk from there was my target, hiding behind a "Do not enter" sign, warning people that this chamber could collapse.

I entered and realized I had forgotten any means of light. I was able to get some light from my camera and take a few photos. Directly next to the chamber was what looked like a cellar hole.
